Teaching & Professional Education
Teaching is an important part of my professional life and a natural extension of my clinical practice.
I teach students and practitioners across different areas of Chinese medicine, with a particular focus on TuiNa, acupuncture, clinical reasoning and integrative oncology. My approach to teaching is practical and clinically focused, encouraging students to understand why they are doing something rather than simply learning techniques or protocols.
I am also a Clinical Supervisor at the Northern College of Acupuncture (NCA), where I support acupuncture students in the teaching clinic as they develop their diagnostic skills, clinical skills and confidence working with patients.
Alongside academic and clinical supervision, I teach my own professional courses and contribute to specialist training, workshops and conferences in the UK.
TRADITIONAL TUINA COURSE - LONDON 2026/2027 (sold out!)
TuiNa is one of the four foundational branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, alongside Acupuncture, QiGong, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Practiced for over 5,000 years — and still used in hospitals throughout China — TuiNa is a complete therapeutic system in its own right.
Traditionally performed over clothing, TuiNa combines rhythmic hand techniques, acupressure, mobilizations (Zheng Gu), and meridian work to treat a wide range of conditions. It is highly effective in addressing musculoskeletal issues, as well as chronic and acute imbalances in the digestive, respiratory, and reproductive systems. TuiNa also supports emotional regulation and overall psychophysical balance through its deeply holistic approach.
DURATION:
5 weekends in West London (2 full days, 9:30–17:30) + 2hs Zoom class in alternate months + WhatsApp group for clinical case sharing and questions.
Part 1 (September 2026): Back
Part 2 (November 2026): Chest + abdomen + Face
Part 3 (February 2027): Upper limb + neck
Part 4 (April 2027): Lower limb
Part 5 (June 2027): Advanced techniques & Integration + Moxibustion
WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?:
This course is designed for Chinese Medicine practitioners/students — herbalists or acupuncturists — with a solid foundation in Chinese Medicine theory.
You’ll learn over 20 hand techniques, treatment protocols, key acupuncture points, and structural mobilizations (Zheng Gu).
Course is limited to a group of 6 participants for in-depth, experiential learning, plus a WhatsApp group for ongoing support.
QiGong, one of the branches of Chinese Medicine, serves not only as a personal health practice but also as a form of therapy — with many exercises that can be prescribed for specific conditions. In this way, QiGong acts as the physiotherapy of Chinese Medicine.
Two complete QiGong sets will be taught and explore throughout the course.
Upon completing all five parts, you receive the DIPLOMA OF TRADITIONAL TUINA.
